Welcome to the new and improved L.L.W. Class of 1959 Home page. The links above take you to information about the next reunion, facts about the class, and whatever. Please check things out.
The Saint Ambrose Class of 1959 roster is now complete thanks to Gerry Tiziani. Also, Jerry Helander did some research on the Social Security web site and was able to provide the date of death of several of our classmates. Some classmates have checked in and there are up-to-date addresses and/or E-mail addresses posted. I've said this elsewhere but I'll repeat - E-mail addresses which are posted on the class directory are in a form that spammers cannot see when they crawl web pages looking for addresses. You only can see the address when you click on the button and your mail program comes up.
We are having a final meeting on Wednesday, September 16th at 11:00 at Tacconelli's. You should have already received a letter and reservation form for our 50th. Gary Harrington is chair/treasurer and planning meetings are open to anyone who is interested and can attend.
Here are links to downloadable copies of the letter in Microsoft Word Format and in Adobe PDF Format. If you wish to register on-line, here is a link to a registration form however you will still need to mail your fees.
If you have any address changes, Email changes or additions, or have information on any of our classmates that is not current on this web site, please let me know as soon as possible. We need to make changes to our (currently shaky) address list. Any Email addresses that you provide are put in a javascript program so that the actual address is not visible to spammers. You don't have to worry that making your Email address available to classmates will make you more vulnerable to spam Email. Several classmates have recently updated their info.
The list of current attendees and the weekend schedule is on the reunion news page.
There will be a bulletin board at the Friday night get-together and at the Saturday party. You can post photos, memorabilia, and messages. There is also a beautiful reunion photo quilt made by Tootsie Kellett as a raffle prize.
I'm looking forward to seeing you-all - Larry
It is sadly discontinued, at least for now. The list-master, Ed. Estola, is working on his commercial pages and can't devote the time to maintain it at present. We hope that it will resurface soon.
Several of us have created pages on Facebook (www.facebook.com) It's not just for the kids.
